What is an Elliot 7?

Designed by New Zealander Greg Elliot the Elliot 7 is a lightweight, high performance sports boat that offers the sailor easy handling.  The Elliot 7 has a simple sail plan and clean hull lines, and can be sailed as a cruiser or a racer.  When racing, all boats are bound by a set of Class rules and strict hull specifications.

The Elliot Marine website describes the Elliot 7 as "a trailable day racer or family overnighter.  Easily handled, excellent performance, quality finish, sleek sports styling"
