What is a National 12?

The National 12 is a two person, two sail racing dinghy, ideal for families, young teams and couples.  With a sail area of 10.4m2 and a light hull they are suited for inland sailing on rivers, lakes & reservoirs and are also great at sea.

The National 12 is a development class, with sailors choosing the design to meet their needs.  The different hulls allow helm-crew combinations between 16 & 23 stone to be competitive.
